| Aircraft Designs, Inc. (ADI) works closely with COMPOSITE
CREATIONS, Inc. to meet clients' needs. Composite
Creations, Inc. specializes in the
fabrication of light weight, high performance, advanced composite aircraft structures.
Four composite specialists are employed at Composite Creations 5,000 sq. foot facility. Within
there are three sections: a clean room for prepreg layup; cutting room with a parts storage
area; and a tooling room with a wet layup area. Prepreg and film adhesives are stored in a 10 by 12 foot freezer. Composite parts are vacuum bagged and temperature cured in the 28 by 8 by 8 foot oven. Temperature cure cycles are computer controlled to very close thermal tolerances. They do fantastic composite fabrication work for a very reasonable price. Composite Creations, Inc. is owned and operated by Vern Pifer and his wife who worked for Neico Aviation for the past 20 years making composite parts. Stallion wing kit parts are ready for shipment. Parts are built by Composite Creations, Inc. The Stallion has one of the largest, all graphite wings of any kit aircraft on the market today.
The Stallion wing is extremely stiff and light and as such has a high critical flutter speed and does not deflect during gusty winds. The Stallion also has a solid ride in extreme gusts when other airplanes get knocked around and have bouncing rides in gusts. |
